For OEM customers, ATA-VISION designs and manufactures Scientific Smart Cameras used to acquire cellular/molecular images in extremely low light levels conditions.   Typical applications are in Fluorescence and Spectroscopy imaging. Such scientific cameras could be used with a Gated Optical Imager (GOI) to be able to measure the Fluorescence Livetime (FLIM) or the Förster Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET). Other application in Fluorescence is the biological study of cells membrane diffusion (FRAP: Fluorescence Recovery After Photobleaching). Typical application is also Raman Spectroscopy measurement. Sensors technologies are : ICCD, sCMOS, EMCCD, emICCD, sICMOS. Sensors are in general thermoelectrically cooled.
