Smart Cameras combining multiple sensors give better result especially in objects recognition.
We propose the combination of 3 types of sensors: RGB, TOF (depth) and LWIR. The 3 types of images are
aligned (superimposed) via a dedicated processing in FPGA. The depth’s images and IR’s images are up-scaled
in resolution.
Recognition and other algorithms could use advantageously RGB-DEPTH-IR data per pixel.
